PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear arrangement structure for a vehicle capable of suppressing increase of the whole length of the vehicle caused by installing an exhaust muffler having the long whole length in the vehicle in which the exhaust muffler built-in with an exhaust gas purification catalyst is arranged at a side of an engine arranged at a central part in a vehicle width direction in an engine room at a rear part of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In the exhaust muffler 70, an exhaust inlet is arranged at a front side of the vehicle and an exhaust outlet is arranged at a rear side of the vehicle respectively. A first exhaust pipe 8 for connecting the exhaust gas outlet of the engine 1 and the exhaust inlet of the exhaust muffler is downward bent in a vehicle front direction above the exhaust muffler, is bent toward a rear side of the vehicle near the exhaust muffler and is connected to the exhaust inlet of the exhaust muffler. A second exhaust pipe 10 connected to the exhaust outlet of the exhaust muffler is extended from the exhaust muffler to a portion at an opposite side to the exhaust muffler in a vehicle width direction relative to the engine and is opened to the rear part of the vehicle.
