PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calibrate a color printer by using a same color table when the printer is operated in either a first resolution mode or a second resolution mode. SOLUTION: This is a method for operating the color printer. The method includes a step of transforming input color data to printer color space primary colors including non-black primary colors by using the predetermined color table, a step of, if the printer is operating in the first resolution mode, adjusting the non-black primary colors by using a first set of one-dimensional TRCs, and a step of, if the printer is operating in the second resolution mode, adjusting the non-black primary colors by using a second set of the one-dimensional TRCs.
