PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a water repellent film (ink repellent film) having high durability accurately and uniformly with a pattern, correctly following the opening edge part of a nozzle hole, on the ink ejection surface of a nozzle plate, near the nozzle hole in particular. SOLUTION: In the nozzle plate, a titanium film 4 as an interlayer is formed on the ink ejection surface 10 of a nozzle plate substrate 1 and the water repellent film is formed of a coating fluorine-based water repellent agent 5 on the titanium film 4.
