PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an articulated fitting for preventing a displacement of a pawl member to ratchet teeth. SOLUTION: In the articulated fitting: a pair of ratchets 22 of a turning fitting 20 is pivoted at a fixed fitting 10; the pawl member 30 disengageably corresponds to the ratchet teeth 23; the positive rotation of the turning fitting 20 is permitted by engagement or disengagement of the pawl member 30 and the reverse rotation is restricted; and the pawl member 30 is pressed by a cam 40 across the pair of ratchets to be disengaged from the ratchet teeth 23. The pawl member 30 has a pair of pawl plates 32 spaced apart. The end of the pawl plate 32 is provided with engaging pawls 33 engaged to the ratchet teeth 23. The end sides of the pair of pawl plates are provided with cam follower pieces 31. The cam follower pieces 31 are each provided with a guide projection 31a projecting from the end of the pawl member 30 and disposed across the pair of the ratchets, and the pair of ratchets 23 are guided by the guide projections 31a.
