<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording medium which is excellent in coloring printing properties and image shelf stability, causes little white dust of a blank paper part and can reduce printing dregs. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording medium provided with a thermal coloring layer which is constituted mainly of an electron donating dye, an electron accepting acid substance and a sensitizer mainly consisting of 2-benzyloxynaphthalene, the sensitizer is 100-300 mass% to 100 mass% of the electron accepting acid substance and contains 3,3'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone and an aromatic isocyanate compound. As for the electron accepting acid substance, one or two or more kinds out of 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone, 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone, 4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxydiphenyl sulfone, bis-(3-allyl-4-hidroxyphenyl)sulfone and 4,4'-[oxybis(ethyleneoxy-P-phenylenesulfonyl)]diphenol are used and moreover an imino compound having at least one or more >C=NH groups is preferably added thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
