<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for saving further large pieces of data from a volatile memory to a non-volatile memory when a power supply is turned off. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device has an instantaneous power interruption/power failure detection circuit 32 for outputting an instantaneous power interruption detection signal PS when a power supply voltage is not higher than an instantaneous power interruption determination threshold, and outputting a power failure detection signal PD when the power supply voltage is not higher than a power failure determination threshold lower than the instantaneous power interruption determination threshold. When detecting the signal PS, the processor 11 starts data saving from a system memory 14 to a non-volatile memory 16, and after this, when detecting the signal PD, the processor 11 continues the data saving and also performs shutdown processing of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
