<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement distribution method for distributing an advertisement suited to image data. <P>SOLUTION: According to the advertisement distribution method, an advertisement distribution apparatus 10 accepts a request of transmitting page data stored in a content storage part 61 of the advertisement distribution apparatus 10 from a terminal 20 connected through a network, and based on image data included in the page data which has accepted the request, the apparatus retrieves image data similar to that image data from image data included in a plurality of other page data stored in the content storage part 61. The apparatus extracts the data included in the page data including the retrieved similar image data, collating the extracted data with advertisement data stored in an advertisement data storage part 62 of the advertisement distribution apparatus 10, extracting the collated advertisement data from the advertisement data storage part 62, adding the extracted advertisement data to the page data which has accepted the request, transmitting the page data with the advertisement data added to the terminal 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
