<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC motor controller, with which the influence due to 00 deviation of the d-axis of an AC motor is made small and the AC motor can be operated in a stable manner, when it is detected that a system is in the middle of a regeneration operation. <P>SOLUTION: The AC motor controller is provided with a current detecting part, a coordinate conversion part (4), a speed estimating part (5), an output frequency generating part (6), a non-interference voltage generating part (7), a q-axis current control part (8), a d-axis current control part (9), a second q-axis voltage command generating part, a second d-axis voltage command generating part, a phase angle generating part (10), an output voltage generating part (11), a PWM generating part (12), and a power converting part (1).
