PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot piping passing through a working shaft, etc. of which are never damaged by movement of the working shaft in the axial direction and a setting space for which is relatively small. SOLUTION: This robot is furnished with the working shaft 5 on one end part of which a mounting seat for a working member is provided and an oscillating type arm 4 to support this working shaft 5 free to move in the axial direction. A hollow part passing through a connecting member (piping, etc. 104) is formed on a shaft center part of the working shaft 5. Columnar members (supports 62, 63) are erected on the arm 4 so as to run along the working shaft 5. The connecting member is constituted of at least one of a prescribed number of cables for electric power supply and a prescribed number of cables for a signal. A portion derived from the working shaft 5 on the connecting member is formed in a coil shape and held by passing it through the columnar members. These coil shape parts 145, 146 are formed to have prescribed flexural elasticity. One end part of the columnar members on these coil shape parts 145, 146 is supported on the arm 4, and the other end part is connected to the working shaft 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
