PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric motor capable of improving the assembly properties of a magnetic sensor and to further improve the position accuracy of such a magnetic sensor. SOLUTION: In this electric motor, an approximately semicircular notch part 110 is formed at an end part of a substrate 108 on the side of an motor output shaft 28, and two Hall ICs 40 and 42 are provided at an angular interval of 90 deg. along the notch part 110. Therefore, by assembling the substrate 108 in such a way as to position an armature shaft inside the notch part 110, it is possible to equalize the distances from the axis of the armature shaft to the Hall ICs 40 and 42. Furthermore, as the directions of assembly of the substrate 108 and a helical gear are matched with each other, it is possible to improve the assembly properties of those components. |
