A method of providing serialized communications forming a story or game, including the steps of: providing a decision selection element in a mailbox shaped container for selecting between a plurality of sets of serialized communications; receiving a selection of one of the plurality of sets of serialized communications; and providing a plurality of serialized letters corresponding to the selected on e of the plurality of sets of serialized communications, each of the plurality of letters being sequentially mailed to the user, the plurality of letters combining to communicate a story. A kit for receiving serialized mailings is also detailed herein. The kit for receiving serialized mailings includes a mailbox shaped container, an introduction element explaining a plurality of serialized communications which a user can select to receive, a decision selection element for selecting one of a plurality of se ts of serialized mailings, and a prize element.
