The invention relates to non-oxidiser particles containing sodium percarbonate and at least one additive, the amount of constituents other than sodium percarbonate in the particles being such that the particles are classified as non-oxidiser according to the standard test method 0.1 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, sub-section 34.4.1 and that the particles have an available oxygen content of below 12% by weight, wherein the sodium percarbonate is coated with the additive(s), wherein the additive is a mixture of anhydrous sodium carbonate and sodium carbonate monohydrate, to regulate a water content to be of 1 to 8% by weight, the particles having a sodium carbonate content of from 30 to 50% by weight both in anhydrous and monohydrate form, the water content of the particles being regulated to the value necessary to classify said particles as non-oxidiser according to the standard test method 0.1 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the particles containing sodium percarbonate and at least one additive and to the use of these particles as bleaching agents in dishwashing detergent compositions and/or other household or industrial cleaning compositions. |
