A single layer capacitive touch screen and a touch display apparatus comprising said touch screen. The capacitive touch screen comprises a plurality of first electrodes (10) and second electrodes (20) distributed in the same structural layer, the plurality of first electrodes (10) being arranged along a first direction; a plurality of second electrodes (20) corresponding to each first electrode (10) are distributed along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; the first electrodes (10) comprise an electrode main body (12) and a plurality of electrode support bodies (11) in communication with the electrode main body (12), and grooves (21) corresponding to the shape of the electrode support bodies (11) are arranged in the second electrodes (20), each electrode support body (11) being embedded in the groove (21) of a second electrode (20), each electrode support body (11) and corresponding second electrode (20) forming a mutual capacitance unit (30).
