The present invention relates to a method for connecting devices and sharing and controlling content in order to share content between a smartphone and an HDMI wireless device. As smartphones have been popularized, various types of content have been produced and consumed in a wireless environment. HDMI wireless devices have been spread in order to display content, produced by the smartphones, on a large screen, such as a television, but there are disadvantages in which a complex procedure is required to share content between a smartphone and an HDMI wireless device and content sharing is significantly difficult or impossible when a user has no knowledge about a network. In order to overcome the disadvantages, an object of the present invention is to provide a method which can wirelessly connect an HDMI wireless device, connected to a television, and a smartphone and which can easily share content between the devices connected to the same network. The method for sharing content between a smartphone and an HDMI wireless device comprises the steps of: transmitting a request signal to a smartphone by an HDMI wireless device; authenticating the smartphone; starting automatic connection by using a P2P method; and sharing content. |
