Obtained is an airbag device which can be easily manufactured and which can be smoothly expanded. An airbag device (1) is provided with an airbag (10), an inflator (30), a gas flow regulation member (12), and a holding member (14) which prevents the inflation and expansion of the airbag (10) in the direction toward the outer peripheral side surface thereof. An occupant-side panel (10a) and an inflator-side panel (10b), which constitute the airbag (10), are separately folded along the center axis of the airbag so that the occupant-side panel (10a) covers the outer side of the inflator-side panel (10b). The holding member (14) is provided with an opening (14h) at the center thereof. During the inflation and expansion of the airbag (10), the occupant-side panel (10a) expands through the opening (14h) and after that the inflator-side panel (10b) expands. |
