SOLAR CELL MODULE

A solar cell module includes solar cells containing heavy-metal elements, and the solar cells include a material capable of capturing heavy-metal elements, preferably at least any of Chevrel compound and fiber glass. Specifically, the layer of fiber glass covers almost all the front and back sides of the solar cells; preferably, it is bonded to the solar cells using plastic. The fiber glass layer carries glass frit and/or Chevrel compound, and preferably it further carries a solid-phase base. An alternative solar cell module may comprise Chevrel compound on a CdTe layer as a p-type semiconductor layer.
