PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization method for hydrocarbon oil capable of sufficiently suppressing deterioration in a hydrorefining catalyst.SOLUTION: Provided is a desulfurization method for hydrocarbon oil containing a process of contacting a hydrorefining catalyst with hydrocarbon oil and having a structure where, in the hydrocarbon oil, one or two or more hydrogen atoms of aniline are substituted with a substituent(s), aniline in which the total carbon number of the substituent(s) is 3 to 5 is included, and also, the total concentration of the aniline included in the hydrocarbon oil is controlled to 30 ppm or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
