PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain image processing method and device capable of surely detecting a mark or a specific pattern constituted of the mark when the mark or the specific pattern exists in an original and executing prescribed processing for easily and accurately executing judgment. SOLUTION: Chrominance signals of R, G and B are sent to a binary processing part 13 in each color through an image input part 12. When the color of a mark is yellow e. g. a B signal of a pixel on a mark part is extremely small as compared with other signals, so that the B signal is sent to a shape extraction part 13a, processed by a threshold, R, G and B signals are sent to a color extraction part 13b to detect the color of the mark is yellow, AND is found out by an AND 13c and a binary image obtained by extracting only a yellow pixel is generated. The binary image is applied to a mark detection part 15 through a 1st storage device 14 and matched with a shape constituting the mark, mark position information is extracted and sent to an arrangement matching part 17 through a 2nd storage device 16, adaptation for judging whether the mark is arranged on a prescribed position or not is found out and outputted. Consequently binarization is simply executed based on a single color. |
