The organic waste water processing apparatus according to an embodiment comprises an anaerobic processing reactor, a microbe deposit amount-determining mechanism, a flow-controlling mechanism, and a microbe amount-controlling mechanism. In the anaerobic processing reactor, a carrier on which anaerobic microbes are deposited is stored and water that is being processed is passed therethrough. The microbe deposit amount-determining mechanism determines the amount of anaerobic microbes deposited on the carrier. The flow-controlling mechanism controls the flow of the water being processed with respect to the anaerobic processing reactor on the basis of the determination results from the microbe deposit amount-determining unit. The microbe amount-controlling mechanism supplies a promoter for promoting the deposit of anaerobic microbes on the carrier to the anaerobic processing reactor on the basis of the determination results from the microbe deposit amount-determining unit. |
