[Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical and pesticidal preparations suitable for treating, e.g. acarids, fungi, helminths and protozoa causing coccidiosis contain as active ingredient compounds of the general formula:- wherein R 1 is C 1-5 alkyl or C 2-5 alkenyl, R 2 is halogen, C 1-5 alkyl, C 1-5 alkoxy or nitro, and n is from 2 to 5 (R 2 being the same or different) and n can also be 1 when R 1 is iso-C 3 H 7 and R 2 is H, and when R 1 is iso-C 4 H 9 and R 2 is 4-Cl and when R 1 is -CH=CH 2 and R 2 is 4-Cl. The preparations may be administered in admixture with a carrier or feed supplement or in unit dosage form in the form of a capsule, bolus, tablet, a liquid drench or injection. In treating insects, fungi or bacteria emulsions, non-aqueous solutions, wettable powders, vapours and dusts may be utilised.</p> |
