<p>Press mould for food forms these into shapes for freezing and portioning by means of two components, one converged by piston and cylinder operated linkage onto the fixed lower component to form an irregular mould cavity. A gap is left between the moving component and the container walls as vent or product escape during forming. A plunger inserted into the mould cavity forms the product, ejects it when formed to satisfaction and uses for this purpose part of its length only so as to prevent oil etc. soiling the food during forming.</p> |
