<p>The space-retainer, for supporting reinforcing units in concrete building components, consists of interconnected U-shaped stirrup shackles, with vertical shanks as legs and base shanks forming loadable base struts, running parallel to the sheathing. Auxiliary assembly units are formed on the space-retainer, pref. with a clamping hook (30) and clamping inclined section (31).
