The detector, together with the store and an independent power pack constitute one small unit which can be worn on the human body or carried by hand; a time switch enables the period of storage of the digitally measured signals to be determined. A further time switch may be used to start the storage operation. This second time switch restarts the storage operation as specific intervals, each stored group being supplied to a separate address in the memory store. Used in general medicinal work, in particular for ease of observation. The apparatus is compact inexpensive and easily transported and provides an indication at the end of a storage period, preventing the termination of the period from being overlooked by the operator.
