BUCKLE CONTROL SYSTEM A sheet feeding apparatus and process is provided for forming a buckle in a sheet. A reproducing machine employing that apparatus is also provided. A sensing means is provided for sensing the position of an edge of the sheet. Timing means responsive to the sensing means is used to time a reference time interval from the sensing of the edge. The timing means is coupled to a feeding means and includes a means for stopping the feeding means upon the expiration of the referenced time interval. The referenced time interval is selected to be sufficiently long to allow the feeding means when feeding a sheet to form a buckle in the sheet.
