The invention concerns a vascular device to be inserted in a blood vessel to prevent embolism, the device comprising an axially elongated flexible rod (5) for manoeuvring a radially expandable structure (3) permeable to blood, and whereto the rod is coupled, the structure having axially a proximal side (13a) whereat it is coupled with the rod, an intermediate zone (16) where the structure has a second diameter in a radially extended state and a distal side (13b), the proximal and distal sides extending obliquely relative to the axis, in said radially extended state, the structure comprising a reinforcement including a lattice of yarns (3a) lined at least partly with a film (11), the film having passages, at least on the distal side of the structure, to freely allow through blood, but not said debris. |
