A current supply with power factor correction (PFC) using a PFC-converter part in sync. operation with a PWM-converter part and with both converter parts having the same working frequency and a max. pulse duty factor of 99 % at the PFC- converter part and 50 % at the PWM-converter part. The oscillator, or an externally supplied sync. signal, operates at a frequency at least twice that of the drive frequency and the limit set for the pulse duty factor of the PWM-converter is 50 % at the most, specifically by means of a divider-flipflop. |
