PURPOSE:To automatically adjust a recording characteristics by a simple constitution, by controlling a recording signal and a reproducing signal by a circuit containing a counting means. CONSTITUTION:Two frequencies f1, f2 are used as signals for adjusting a recording characteristics, they are applied to a gate circuit 1 and a signal which intermits periodically is generated, it is recorded into a tape 11 through a level variable means 6 and a recording characteristic variable means 7, also its reproducing signal is compared with a prescribed level by a comparator 17, and when they are in coincidence with each other, a signal is outputted. On the other hand, a counter 4 is provided, the number of times of generation of a recording output, and the number of times of generation of a reproducing output are counted, a level variable means 6 is controlled in accordance with said contents, and also its counting operation is stopped by a signal of the comparator 17. Accordingly, when adjusting a level, only f1 is recorded EQ, and when adjusting a recording bias, f1 and f2 are superposed and used, by which a recording characteristics are adjusted automatically by a simple constitution. |
