PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce height of a space which has to be secured as the moving space of a light guide fiber bundle on an upper side of a housing upper surface of a microscope. SOLUTION: A port 1a, to which a fiber guide 122 of a light guide fiber 105 for supplying an illuminating optical system 300 fixed at the inside of the housing of a binocular microscope 101 with illuminating light is inserted, is opened at a housing upper plate 1 of the binocular microscope. The periphery of the port 1a is formed as a recessed part 101a, that is lower than the other part of the housing upper plate 1. Also, a fiber guide inserting part 123 for holding a knob part 122a of the fiber guide 122 is attached at the outer edge of the port 1a. The outer end of the fiber guide 122 exists within the same plane as the housing upper plate 1, in a state with the knob part 122a held by the fiber guide inserting part 123. |
