PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that transport property of a transfer belt and the intermediate transfer belt is stabilized, and the image defect such as the void is made preventable. SOLUTION: As for this image forming device, since the void in image is made preventable by imparting traveling speed differential between a photosensitive drum and transfer material, and making the toner image on the photosensitive drum so as to be scraped down on the transfer material, taking transport stability of the transfer belt 30 into consideration, the traveling speed Vm, Vc, Vy and Vk of photosensitive drums 11M, 11C, 11Y and 11K being arranged side by side in parallel to the transfer belt, is set so that Vm=Vc=101 mm/sec., Vy=108 mm/sec., Vk=103 mm/sec., and the traveling speed of the belt is set 30 to 110 mm/sec. In such a manner, the speed differential between the photosensitive drum and the transfer material is set so that it is about 1% for magenta (M) and cyan (C) being relatively free from the occurrence of the void, about 3% for black (B) being somewhat liable to cause the void, and about 8% for yellow (Y) being substantially liable to cause the void. |
