<p>Anchoring knot on a tensioning cord, made by spatial bulging of the cord wires, the core wire (3) running straight in the knot (K). The individual outer cord wires (2) run helically in the region of the bulging from one end to the other of the stranding over an angle of at least 360 DEG . The thickness of the knot amounts to four times that of the stranded cord. To make anchoring knots, the cord is clamped securely at the point corresponding to the end of the first knot to be made facing away from the cord end and only the outer wires of the cord are pushed towards this point. From the displaced outer wires which have remained undeformed, further knots lying at a distance from one another can be formed. To implement the method, a device is provided, with a holding device, having a clamping jaw, for the cord, a pressure piece, which is arranged at an axial distance therefrom, can be moved relative to the holding device and has a bore for supporting the cord end, and a compression form situated between holding device and pressure piece (24), the bore in the pressure piece (24) being set back on the end facing away from the form (15) and passing into a thinner passage (26) for the end of the core wire (3). <IMAGE></p> |
