PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a piping for recovering excessive developer after development to a developer tank by spreading the excessive developer remaining after film is developed one-dimensionally, absorbing, drying and evaporating it. CONSTITUTION:The excessive developer remaining after film is electrified and exposed is absorbed by an absorbing means 96. The excessive developer spreaded one-dimensionally and absorbed by the means 96 is dried and evaporated by drying means 106 and 108. As a result, the excessive developer wastes after development is treated. When a wide, endless belt is used for the absorbing means 96, the excessive developer is spreaded on the plane of the belt, and absorbed by the belt. The excessive developer on the endless belt, which is absorbed, is blown by the drying means 106 and 108, hot air, for instance, whereby the developer is dried and evaporated. Thus the piping to recover the excessive developer to the developer tank is not needed. |
