The system using one telephone line with a number of subsidiary phones is divided to a main telephone connected to the line and sub- telephones connected to the main telephone. Both telephone sets equip privacy function switches (11b,12b) switching on and off the counterpart ringing circuit (11a,11b) and line when the person does not pick-up the handset for certain time after rining in the main telephone, an automatic ring changer (11c) switches the call to the sub-telephone.
