In this state, for instance, an insert 3 consisting of industrial pure Al containing no low boiling point element is inserted as a weld joint into a weld part of the members 1, 2. A laser beam 4 is emitted through a window 6 from an oscillator 5, reduced to necessary power density by a condensing lens 7, and radiated to the insert material 3. Simultaneously, from a gas leading-in port 8, insert gas such as argon gas, etc., is led in as shield gas. While radiating the laser beam, the whole members 1, 2 are moved by a moving table and a welding work is executed continuously, and desired welding is attained.
