PURPOSE: A safety device for detecting failure of a compressed natural gas vehicle is provided to rapidly repair by alarming trouble and to prevent an accident. CONSTITUTION: A safety device for detecting trouble of a compressed natural gas vehicle comprises a travelling information detecting unit(100); a starting switch(110) outputting a specific signal to start the vehicle; an engine RPM(Revolution Per Minute) detecting unit(120) outputting a signal of the engine RPM; an oxygen sensor(130) detecting density of oxygen contained in exhaust gas; a gas pressure sensor(140) detecting pressure of gas by being mounted on a gas supplying pipe; first and second cylinders; a gas flowing detecting unit(150) detecting flowing of the gas of the gas supplying pipe; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(200) outputting a specific control signal by detecting various travelling information while travelling the vehicle.
