发明名称 COOLING METHOD OF STEEL MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To evenly and quickly cool steel material by ultrafinely atomizing liquid having phase transition latent heat such as water or alcohol by the utilization of a cavitation phenomenon by ultrasonic waves and adding this to a gas cooling medium such as blast and making use these as coolant. CONSTITUTION:Spare cooling troughs 3 and a coiler 4 are disposed behind a final finishing mill 2 and the high temp. hot worked wire material 1 having been coiled is conveyed by a heat-treating conveyor 7. Blast nozzles 6 and blast blowers 11 are provided below the conveyor 7 and blast ducts 9 connecting both are installed between these. Ultrafine atomizing devices 10 of liquid utilizing a cavitation phenomenon by ultrasonic waves are disposed on the inside and outside of the blast ducts 9. The wire material 1 is cooled by the blast from the blast nozzles 6 and is thereby subjected to patenting heat treatment, wherein a suitable amount of the liquid having phase transition latent heat such as water having been ultrafinely atomized by the ultrafine atomizing devices 10 is added to the blast to uniformly and rapidly cool the wire material, whereby the metal structure is made precisely into the intended metal structure.
