PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer recording image receiving sheet in which glossiness and high picture quality like those of silver salt photographic tone can be obtained. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer recording image receiving sheet 1 comprises a colorant image receiving layer 5 which can receive colorant to be transferred from a thermal transfer recording ink ribbon and an image receiving sheet base 2 for holding the layer 5, wherein a ratio (T/R) of a three-dimensional surface roughness R of a surface of the base of the side provided with the layer to a thickness T of the layer is set to 20 or more. Thus, glossiness and picture quality are improved. |
