PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a battery by discriminating an address/message discrimination word, turning on the power source of a reception part at the time of its address, and turning off the power source when an address other than its address is decided. SOLUTION: A paging signal once received by an antenna 1 is demodulated by a reception part 2 and sent to a decision control part 3. The decision control part 3 receives it to recognize the position in a group whose address is sent, sends a signal to the battery 5 only when the address is its address, and turns on the power source to place the reception part 2 in operation. Then, when it is judged from the 1st word of the address that the address is not its address, the power source is turned off, and the operation of the reception part 2 is stopped with the 2nd word of the address. When the address is its address, the signal is sent to the battery 5 to turn on the power source, and then the reception part is operated so as to receive only the message part which is sent next. |
