PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately perform time adjustment operation in an apparatus with a buil-in timepiece by taking in the voice of time information service given by NTT, etc., through a telephone line, recognizing the voice by use of a voice recognition technique, and automatically adjusting the time with the result. SOLUTION: In a device for adjusting the present time of timepiece built in an apparatus, time information composed of voice and signal source generated is input to a microphone 1 and the information is subjected to signal processing by an input signal processing unit 2 and further subjected to voice analysis by a voice analyzing unit 3, thereafter the timming of the signal sound is detected by a signal sound timming detection unit 4, and the time position per word composing the voice based on the timming of signal sound generated is specified by a voice position detection part 5. Based on the position of the voice, the voice signal is recognized by a voice recognition unit 6, then the result is displayed on a time display unit 7, and when the recognition is made properly, the time of timepiece built in the apparatus is set to the time at the time point informed by the time information by a specified timming by a time setting unit 8. |
