PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the drain water of an air-conditioner for a vehicle for improving the cooling efficiency by employing a forced draft-type motor-driven fan as the fan of the condenser, and connecting the drain hose to a portion on the negative pressure side of the condenser shroud. CONSTITUTION:To the lower part of a car body 1, a shroud 4 is secured. A condenser 5 is attached to the lower opening end of the shroud 4. A forced draft fan 7 driven by a motor 6 is enclosed in the shroud 4. A drain hose 8 from a cooling unit 3 is connected to the side of the shroud 4 where the negative pressure is produced by the rotation of the fan 7, that is, the upper side of the fan 7. The constitution permits drain to flow on the side of the shroud 4, to be sprinkled in the shroud 4 by the negative pressure produced by the rotation of the fan 7 in the form of water drops 9, and to be atomized to fall over the whole of the condenser 5. Consequently, the condenser 5 can fully show its ability, so that the cooling efficiency is improved. |
