PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a subject not only to measure the body fat rate and calculate the total value of the caloric intake but also to easily grasp the relation between the result of measurement of the body fat rate and the total value of the caloric intake by himself/herself. SOLUTION: This body fat rate measuring device with a calorie calculation function has a right current applying electrode 3b, a left current applying electrode 3a, a right voltage measuring electrode 5b and a left voltage measuring electrode 5a mounted on the main body of this device for measuring the bio- impedance, input keys 21 for inputting such data as the height, weight, age, sex, etc., of a subject, a body fat rate operation function for operating the body fat rate, MBI, etc., based on the measured bio-impedance and the inputted data, and a calorie calculation function capable of calculating the calory of a single article and the total caloric intake. The device also has a linkage judgement function for displaying the result of judgement linking the result of operation of the body fat rate and calculation of the total caloric intake. |
