PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a distortion detector which detects distortion (ACP) in an amplifier, which disturbs the communication of a communication system, using a digital modulated wave. SOLUTION: A distortion detector is provided with a filter 106 which is connected in parallel with the output terminal of a high-frequency amplifier 104 and passes the multiple waves of a signal frequency, a high-frequency amplifier 107 which amplifies the pass signal of the filter 106, and a detector 105 which detects the signal amplified by means of the amplifier 107 and converts the detected signal into a DC voltage signal in accordance with the input level. The detector is made to detect leakage power to adjacent channels which is generated by the nonlinearity of the amplifier 104 when the digital modulated wave is inputted to the amplifier 104.
