PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing an image signal in a multi-processing monitor is to allow a graphic image to be exactly displayed on the monitor though an image signal in a certain state is input. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing an image signal in a multi-processing monitor, which has a video input device(10), a graphic input device and a plurality of monitors, comprises a synchronizing signal detecting portion(30) for detecting a synchronizing signal in an image signal input from the video input device and outputting a deciding signal according to a detected result; a synchronizing signal generating portion(40) for generating a continuous horizontal synchronizing signal and vertical synchronizing signal; a filtering portion(70) for removing a frequency component of the synchronizing signal from the image signal directly input from the video input device, and extracting only a high frequency corresponding to a color difference signal, and synthesizing with the synchronizing signal generated from the synchronizing signal generating portion; and a video switching portion(80,80a) for selectively outputting the image signal from the video input device and the image signal in which the frequency signal is synthesized with the synchronizing signal from the filtering portion. |
