PURPOSE: A lubrication system of multiple disc clutch for automatic transmission provides a clutch with a lubricant oil through a lubrication hole of the clutch piston only when a clutch disc comes in contact with a clutch plate, thereby decreasing the abrasion generation of the clutch disc. CONSTITUTION: A clutch piston(55) is provided with a lubrication hole(55a) penetrated outward. A retainer(52) is provided with a lubrication passage(52a) for connecting the lubrication hole(55a) to a lubrication flow channel(51a). The lubrication hole(55a) is fluidically connected to the lubrication flow channel(51a) of a shaft(1) when the clutch piston(55) moves to intercept a clutch disc(53) and a clutch plate(54). The retainer(52) is mounted between the clutch piston(55) and the shaft(1). A lubricant oil provided to the clutch disc(3) cools down a frictional heat generated between the clutch disc(3) and the clutch plate(4), when the lubrication flow channel(51a), the lubrication passage(52a) and the lubrication hole(55a) are fluidically connected one another. |
