The means (105) for choosing which posts are to be displayed and the means (106) for determining the lay-out of the web page (104) are stored in a database (107). An agent (108) is provided for retrieving information concerning the web page appearance from these two means. - The system comprises a means for communicating over the Internet or an intranet, and a means for dynamically generating web pages upon request from a browser installed on a computer. The web page generating means comprises a means for choosing which posts are to be displayed, a means for determining the lay-out of the web page, a database for storing a list of posts, and an agent for contacting this database.
