PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pedestrian having poor vision to cross safely alone a pedestrian crossing to the end, by offering him various information on a crossing, guiding him during crossing, and information him of having finished crossing of the pedestrian crossing. SOLUTION: A first communication device installed respectively on the spots on both end parts of the pedestrian crossing, for guiding the pedestrian and a second communication device for offering various information useful as a help for the pedestrian to cross the pedestrian crossing are installed. This walking auxiliary terminal 6 held by the pedestrian receives offer of the various information from the second communication device 3, and informs the pedestrian of the information by outputting it by a voice. The walking auxiliary terminal 6 executes communication with the first communication device 1 installed in the crossing direction required by the pedestrian, and executes output for guiding the pedestrian in the crossing direction in accordance with the communication state. When the pedestrian finishes crossing of the required pedestrian crossing, the walking auxiliary terminal 6 executes output for informing the pedestrian of having finished the crossing.
