<p>The invention concerns a tyre comprising a crown, two sidewalls and two beads, a carcass reinforcement anchored in each of the beads and a crown reinforcement, wherein the carcass reinforcement comprises at least two circumferential alignments of first reinforcing elements with high modulus of elasticity, each circumferential alignment of said first reinforcing elements being, in each bead, bordered axially inwards and axially outwards by second substantially circumferentially oriented second reinforcing elements with modulus of elasticity not less than that of said first reinforcing elements, said first reinforcing elements and second reinforcing elements being separated by a layer of a mixture with very high modulus of elasticity and wherein, the outer surface of the beads comprising a seat, a substantially radially oriented truncated wall radially adjacent inwards to a wall whereof the cross-section is an arc EF with centre C, said centre C being arranged axially external relative to the bead and with respect to a line CD passing through the bead forming an angle α = 45 ? 5 degrees relative to the axis A of the tyre, the assembly of second reinforcing elements is arranged at a radial distance from the axis A not greater than said line CD.</p> |
