PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium with which high-density recording is possible and recording sensitivity and recording characteristics (jitters) are good. SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium formed with a dyestuff recording layer which contains organic dyestuffs and is capable of recording information by a laser beam on a transparent substrate formed with pregrooves is specified to <=1,200 nm in the track pitch of grooves, to 180 to 350 nm in the depth of grooves, to 30 to 150 nm in the thickness of the dyestuff recording layer and to 0.06 to 0.15 in the attenuation coefficient k of a recording laser wavelength. |
