The object is achieved according to the invention in that an arrangement for supplying power to peripherals (2, 3, 4) of an electronic device (1) includes at least one data transfer interface, while the arrangement has at least one socket (14) and a mains connection plug (12) as well as a data transfer interface (10) which is provided for controlling the connection and disconnection of the socket (14).
