PURPOSE: A control device for shifting a pneumatic gear is provided to lengthen a life span of a transmission by improving endurance of a solenoid valve and working efficiency of a pneumatic cylinder, and to shift gears accurately by using pneumatic pressure. CONSTITUTION: A gear shift apparatus of a pneumatic gear is composed of first and second pneumatic cylinders(1,2) moving a shift arm according to pneumatic pressure; a shift detecting unit sensing the shifting state of a vehicle; and a solenoid valve control unit(11) having plural solenoid valves(A1,B1,C1,D1,S,A2,B2,C2,D2) controlling pneumatic pressure flowing to pneumatic cylinders by an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) in shifting gears. Solenoid valves have a solenoid valve body guiding air flow, a bypass valve regulating inflow of air, a first elastic body driving the bypass valve not to supply air to pneumatic cylinder, a plunger driven according to power, a core contacted to the plunger to generate magnetic force, and a second elastic body driving the bypass valve to supply air to pneumatic cylinders. The life span is extended, and shifting is performed accurately with improving endurance of the solenoid valve and working efficiency of the pneumatic cylinder.
