PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave shielding device of a microwave oven is provided to effectively shield electromagnetic wave by covering a trans, a magnetron and a waveguide with a first shielding cover consisting of ferromagnetic and high permeability magnetic material and a second shielding cover consisting of high conductive material. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding device of a microwave oven absorbs and shields various electromagnetic wave generated from a trans(200), a magnetron(220) and a waveguide(230) of the microwave oven. The shielding device comprises a first shielding cover(210) consisting of ferromagnetic and high permeability magnetic material for shielding the trans and a second shielding cover(240) consisting of high conductive material for shielding the magnetron and waveguide. The first shielding cover has a dielectric material on its surface. The ferromagnetic and high permeability magnetic material includes soft iron, permalloy, mumetal, molybdenum and their alloy. The high conductive material includes copper, aluminum and their alloy.
